What We Do
The APRM Sierra Leone Office is committed to fostering good governance and sustainable development in Sierra Leone.
- Conducting comprehensive country reviews to assess governance practices
- Engaging with government officials, civil society, and the private sector to gather input and promote reform
- Promoting public awareness and active citizen participation
- Supporting evidence-based policy formulation and implementation
- Monitoring and evaluating the impact of APRM recommendations
- Collaborating with other APRM country offices for knowledge sharing and regional cooperation
- We conduct public lectures in colleges and universities across Sierra Leone
Mission
Our mission is to contribute to the advancement of good governance, democracy, and socio-economic development in Sierra Leone through the effective implementation of the APRM framework. We seek to achieve this by conducting comprehensive country reviews, engaging with stakeholders, and promoting evidence-based policy reform.

Our vision is a Sierra Leone characterized by strong democratic institutions, transparency, accountability, and improved socio-economic well-being for all citizens.

The APRM's overarching objectives include

- Promoting transparency and accountability in the governance processes of member states
- Enhancing political stability and reducing conflicts on the continent
- Fostering an enabling environment for economic growth and sustainable development in Africa
